What’s a Nomad?
A nomadic worker is one who wanders, someone who may not have a permanent workplace to call their own.
What does my membership plan buy me?
Signing up for one of our monthly options entitles you to:

  • Access to a desk for the month
  • High-speed internet access (via wifi/802.11n)
  • Fast B&W printing (x pages per minute)
  • A business address (letters, packages, meetings, etc.)
  • Drop-in privileges at other coworking sites
  • Coffee and parking
  • Priority scheduling of conference rooms
What do I have access to as a drop-in?
Dropping in for the day enables you to enjoy:

  • First-come, first-serve access to a community desk
  • High-speed internet access (via wifi/802.11n)
  • Fast B&W printing (x pages per minute)
  • Coffee and parking
  • First-come, first-serve scheduling of conference rooms
Will I have 24×7 access to my desk?
The Monthly Unlimited membership plan comes with a key and additional commitments in the sign-up process.
What kind of coffee do you serve?
It depends. We’re big fans of Erie Island Coffee and like ours brewed with a French press. For larger consumption, we have a drip/filter that works well.
Do you cater meetings?
We can—call or contact us!
Do you offer direct-connect (i.e., cat5/RJ45) to the internet?
We should be able to accommodate you—there may be an additional fee.
I need to print in color, can you help me?
An inkjet HP Photosmart C4400 color printer is available for occasional use.
Can I scan things?
The HP Photosmart C4400 is available for limited use.
It sounds like you have everything I need; what don’t you provide?
We think we’ve got all your bases covered, too! Some of the things we don’t provide are:

  • a computer
  • general office supplies (pens, pencils, tablets, etc.)
  • phone service (contact us for additional pricing details)
  • receptionist service
  • faxing (we’ve found that eFax works well)
  • PC repair or troubleshooting (although we will commiserate with you and refer you to someone more qualified!)
  • on-site data storage (no NAS or SAN at this time)
  • on-site server hosting
How do I reserve a conference room?
There will be an online mechanism to reserve conference rooms and avoid conflicts.
What sorts of payment options are there?
Cash, check, and credit card (Paypal).
Is there a refrigerator?
We are pursuing spaces that will allow for refrigeration.
I have one of the monthly/hourly plans, may I store my paper files, my desk stuff on-site?
Yes, the monthly/hourly plans provide ample on-site storage.
Do you have bicycle parking?
We are pursuing spaces with bicycle parking. We encourage you to bike to work!
Where do I park?
We are pursuing spaces with free or low-cost parking.
Is there a quiet/private space where I can answer my phone or have a private conversation?
Conference rooms are generally available for this activity; additionally, there are spaces that are more private than others. If you’re planning more than a 15-minute conference call or meeting, you should reserve a conference room.
May I bring my pet?
While some coworking sites do allow pets, we do not at this time. Of course, service animals are always welcome.
I work a non-standard shift (evenings or weekends), are there special rates for me?
Probably! Contact us with the specifics and we’ll likely work something out.
What are your recognized holidays?
We observe all Federal Holidays (2010, 2011, 2012)
